Enhancements
- New projections supported State Plane West Virginia North NAD27, State Plane North Carolina NAD27
- Document Linking modified A new approach to document linking was implemented based on HTML files with Anchors / Chapter headings. The last version of theme manager allowed linking to a Word document, an HTML document or a windows help file formatted document. Only the Help file format allowed a jump to a chapter or topic based on the selected feature's attribute.
this function now works for HTML documents as well. The suggestion is that for a document you wish to link, you create a table of contents with anchors corresponding chapters in the document. The anchor names should be the same as the values in the shape file field you wish to link to.
Linking to documents also works for Grid themes. If spatial analyst is loaded, values from the Grid's VAT (attribute table) can be linked to anchors in a similarly structured document. Additionally, right clicking on a grid theme will initiate a Map Tip's to display in the Lower left corner of ArcView (the message area) displaying the field name and value for each pixel as the cursor is floated over them.
- The help file has been updated to cover linking HTML files in the Advanced Properties section.
