What is Mobile Learning?
The field of mobile learning has grown rapidly in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In fact M-learning is the exciting art of using mobile technologies via wireless devices to enhance the learning experience. It is about using personal technology to support informal or lifelong learning. Most personal technologies can support mobile learning, including:
- PDA, in the classroom and outdoors
- Tablet PC
- Handheld voting system
- Graphing calculator
- Mobile phone, camera phone and Smart Phone
- Personal audio player, e.g. for listening to audio recordings of lectures
- Handheld audio and multimedia guides, in museums and galleries
IT Global Consulting is looking into the following areas of M Learning:
